Vallebona

A series of images taken at night in a typical 17th century Italian village. Vallebona is situated in the Province of Imperia and was founded on 20 April 1686, by the representants of the surrounding eight villages with the goal to gain independence from Ventimiglia. It was referred to as the «Magnifica Comunità degli Otto Luoghi», which translates as «The magnificent community of the eight villages».
