Dunham Massey Park

Historically situated in the county of Cheshire, since 1974 it is within the outskirts of Greater Manchester, England. Once owned by the last Earl of Stamford it is now in the hands of the National Trust since 1976. The 300 acre park has all the elements of a great medieval deer park; besides the fauna the ancient trees themselves are of particular interest - their age and condition as well as the fallen ones left after storms.
